Description
This book centers on “three little black” orphans who live in a grass hut: Little Black Tag, Little Black Rag, and Little Black Bobtail. When a rainstorm floods their house, the trio sail away on a wooden ladder. Days later, violent waves separate the children, and Little Black Tag and Little Black Rag encounter a polar bear. The children shoot the hungry bear with a cannon, and they soon reunite with Little Black Bobtail, who had been floating on the sea, peacefully asleep, during the entire ordeal.
