Description
This book, published one year after the release of Helen Bannerman’s The Story of Little Black Sambo, features a one-page story entitled “Little Sambo.” In this story, the titular character attempts to get a pail of milk, but he instead spills it on himself. Like many stories from the period, this text attempts to derive humor from the clumsiness of black people.
